DANCE EDUCATORS OF AMERICA!
“Lost Control”,
N2MOTION’S hip hop group received a standing ovation from the judges at Dance
Educators of America’s Regional Competition in Knoxville, Saturday, April 29.
“Lost Control” was 2/10th of a percentage point away from a perfect score of
300, received platinum recognition, audience choice award, first overall in the
young senior line division and the high scoring presentation of the entire
competition!
“Sinnerman”, won an innovative choreography award, gold and
received second overall in the teen line division. Later in the awards
presentation, executive director Randy Coleman was presented on stage a “best of
show” choreography award for “Sinnerman.” “What a Blast” received platinum and
second overall in the 13 and up production division. “War of the Whirls”
received gold and a third place overall, and a judges choice award. “Wet Paint”,
also received gold and an innovative choreography award; “Cha Cha Heels” scored
gold and won fifth place overall in the young senior line division; “For Meme”
scored gold and fifth place overall in the teen line division and received a
special award for Purity of Emotion; “Stop Look and Listen”, received gold and a
second place overall in the pre-teen line division and “Busted” received gold
and first place overall in the pre-teen line division; “All Right Now”, scored
gold and a fourth place overall in the teen line division.. “Takin Care of
Tappin” received gold and third place overall in the junior group division,
“Looking for You” scored gold in the pre-teen hip hop division, and “From
Montgomery” scored gold in the young senior lyrical line division.
In all,
Artistry in Motion received top overall placement and or judges choice awards
for eleven out of their thirteen pieces of choreography!
Artistry in Motion has been invited to perform at the CMA country musical
festival on Sunday, June 11th 2006 in the “Family Fun Zone” stage. For more
