The
registration fee each dancer pays is non-refundable. This covers the cost of
monthly newsletters; mailings, insurance etc…All students including adults, pay
this fee.
All tuition is due with the student’s first scheduled class each
month. Statements will not be sent, unless your account is PAST due. There will
be a $5.00 late fee for payments not received by the 10th of each month. Our
computer/accounting system automatically generates late statements with late
fees applied. Avoid these penalties by making the appropriate payment to your
account each month. Also, feel free to mail your payments to our PO Box. All
tuition must be paid in a timely fashion, no exceptions. Pay your tuition in
advance and receive a 5% discount per semester. This is due by September 10th for
the fall semester and Janurary 10th for Spring.
The spring
concert is the highlight of the year and will be held in early June, dates
announced SOON!
A
non-refundable performance fee is due on or before 3/15/08. This fee also includes
a DVD of one performance (Previously $95 for
the first dancer in the family and nominal for each family member thereafter)...
we are currently reevaluating this fee out of fairness to all. This fee helps defray the cost of theater rental and various expenses incurred
to produce a “state of the art” production. Please remember some programs charge
this fee, then hold their show at a high school auditorium. Our concert is
produced at the gorgeous Tennessee Performing Arts Center and is second to none.
“Thank you” for making this possible.
To facilitate early planning and
organization, a non-refundable deposit of $30.00 is due for each costume a
student needs by October 15th 2007. The total costume price will be determined
when costumes are chosen and the costume balance will be due by January 6th 2008. Anticipated costume cost is between $45.00 and $55.00 each. Paying the
$30.00 deposit warrants the understanding that the balance will be paid in full.
No cancellations or refunds will be given. Costumes will not be issued unless
all tuition, costume and concert fees are paid in full. Costumes must be ordered early to ensure we receive ours by ShowTime.
There is no refund for missed
lessons. Be certain to alert the studio if there is to be an extended series of
absences. An appropriate make-up class within the schedule will try to be
arranged for you. Please notify the office if your child is dropping a class, so
you will not be billed. Dancers should check in upon arrival each week.
Students are expected to be on
time for class and promptly picked up afterward. While waiting to be picked up,
students should remain in the lobby area. DO NOT wait outside! If you are
unexpectedly detained for more than a few minutes, please call our office.
Please NO “Horse Play” in the parking lot OR our lobby!
Any dancer not adhering to the
“Artistry In Motion” dress code will not be allowed to participate in class.
Please refer to your copy of the “dress code.” Please refer
to Dress Code for details.
All dancers
should wear cover-ups when arriving and leaving the facility, no cover-ups worn
in the classroom.
You will be notified about
“planned observation” weeks throughout the year. If you have a special situation
and desire to observe a class, it must be approved with the teacher or director.
No food or drink is allowed in the
lobby area. Comprehensive students attending long classes in duration may have a
beverage/snack in the dressing area only! You may NOT carry drinks into the
lobby or studio areas.
We work hard
to keep our facility clean and well maintained for you. Please help us by
picking up after yourselves. We will not tolerate unruly or destructive behavior
by students or younger siblings.
Please bear in mind that our
holiday schedule may not always coincide with your schools. Read the newsletters
you will receive to keep apprised of our holidays.
When weather
threatens, please call the studio before coming to class to see if we are open.
We have students from many school districts. We DO NOT follow any certain
county’s snow policy. We make every effort to announce our intentions for
